Counselling Options

In some cases where an accused person decides to plead guilty (i.e., admit that they committed the offence), and they have been dealing with underlying issues that contributed to their behaviour, it is helpful to address those underlying issues up front before being sentenced in order to demonstrate to themselves and the court that they are committed to avoiding the same mistakes in the future. The following is a non-exclusive list of recognized service providers that we work with when clients wish to seek help.
